How this website handles personal information.

Who is responsible for your information

This website is run on behalf of Dr Gregory Sebepos-Rogers, Consultant Gastroenterologist. The data controller is GSR GI Medical Ltd, the company through which Dr Sebepos-Rogers provides private medical services. For any question about this notice or about your information, please email gsr.gastro@medicalsecservices.co.uk.

What this website collects

This website has no contact forms, accounts or online payment, and does not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can read every page without giving any personal information.

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like all web hosts, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the pages and protect the site from misuse.

Patient reviews from Doctify

Patient ratings and reviews on this website are displayed by Doctify, an independent review service. These panels are loaded from Doctify’s servers, and Doctify may set cookies or collect technical information when they load. Please see Doctify’s privacy policy for details.

If you contact the practice or book an appointment

If you telephone or email, the details you provide are used to respond to you and to arrange your care. Appointments are booked through the clinic or hospital where you will be seen, each of which has its own privacy notice.

If you become a patient

If you become a patient, I keep a record of your contact details, medical history, test results and correspondence in order to provide your care, communicate with you and arrange payment. This information is used on the basis that it is necessary for the provision of healthcare.

It is shared only with those involved in your care or its administration: your GP, the hospital or clinic where you are seen, laboratories, my secretarial service and, where relevant, your insurer.

Records are kept securely using Carebit, a practice management system for private medical practices, for at least eight years after your last appointment, in line with national guidance on medical records, and are then securely destroyed.

This website links to other organisations, including Welbeck, Imperial College Healthcare and Doctify. Their websites are covered by their own privacy notices.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal information under UK data protection law, including the right to ask for a copy of it and to ask for it to be corrected. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
